Yoav Har-Even is a senior figure in Israel’s defense sector, with decades of leadership experience spanning the military, defense industry, and strategic innovation. From 2015 to 2024, he served as CEO of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Israel’s leading defense technology company, overseeing significant expansion in global exports, innovation programs, and strategic partnerships across air, land, and cyber domains.
Before joining Rafael, Har-Even had a distinguished military career in the Israel Defense Forces, retiring with the rank of Major General. He served as Head of the IDF Operations Directorate and held senior command positions during key military campaigns, including the Second Lebanon War and the 2012–2014 Gaza conflicts. His service reflects deep operational expertise and a systems-level understanding of strategic planning, intelligence coordination, and defense readiness.
Today, he serves as the CEO of PowerGen Energy, bringing his strategic and operational experience to the civilian infrastructure and energy sectors. Har-Even holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. He brings to the advisory board unmatched experience in both high-level military decision-making and defense tech commercialization on a global scale.
